These have some nice features most boots don't have like inner and outer slip pockets on the sides that can hold a pen or folding knife or credit card/ money, etc. front pouch/pocket for tucking laces.

see second pic shows a credit card to illustrate  how deep pocket is. The angle of the pocket is such that when a card is fully tucked down, only one edge protrudes enough to be able to grab it.

I own several pairs and use them for work. They've held up quite well over a year so far.
