     Five pounds of Friedman!

Barry Friedman is Pendleton Woolen Mills' vintage Indian blanket consultant and Ralph Lauren's primary source for antique Indian blankets. He supplied all the vintage blankets for Martin Scorsese's film Killers Of The Flower Moon.

Twelve years in the making, Still Chasing Rainbows is the long-anticipated sequel to Chasing Rainbows, the bible of Indian trade and camp blanket collecting.

Whereas most sequels are a rehash of the first book, that is not the case here. Hundreds of spectacular blankets not previously published anywhere are included in this volume. There are 101 pages devoted to the complete history of Indian blanket production at Pendleton Woolen Mills.

Two previously unknown Indian blanket catalogs from the legendary Buell Manufacturing Company are beautifully reproduced and every dazzling Beacon camp blanket gets its own full page. Evocative historic pictures of Indians and their blankets are liberally sprinkled throughout the volume.

Pendleton Woolen Mills opened its archives to Barry and glass artist Dale Chihuly permitted complete access to his collection - the largest ever assembled.

Collectors throughout the world provided their rarest blankets for inclusion in this tome and the result is even more spectacular than Chasing Rainbows (although you should still buy multiple copies of Chasing Rainbows.)

     The specs: 10” by 12”, 5 pounds, 304 pages, 315 color photographs and 95 black-and-white photos.
