This wooden shabby chic pencil holder has been hand-crafted with floral rice papers featuring lilac flowers on a pale yellow background. Hand-moulded clay corners and  borders have been distressed and highlighted with touches of dark purple and gold paint while a pretty cut-out heart on 2 sides has been edged with delicate lilac pearls. The hearts contain a vintage portrait of a lady in hat. Antique brass rounded metal feet complete the design.

The inside has been painted in pale yellow.

Finished in satin varnish.

This dainty desk tidy would look at home in a shabby chic, vintage or Victorian interior, either on in a home office or on a dressing table as a make-up brush holder.
