Can I control more than one deck? Yes, there is a jumper inside for selecting Sony Beta VCR, VHS VCR, 8mm VCR and Laser Disc. Up to four units can be located in the same area and controlled independently.

Can I use my own remote? Yes, the wireless adapter responds to Sony VCR codes that are available on every universal remote I have ever tested. It is probably the most common device.
