The white one is extremely helpful in marking dark fabrics easily and clearly. It is the same as supplied in many of our sashiko DIY kits.
Please notice that the white pen takes a few seconds to fully appear on the fabric - most of times there is no need to repeatedly mark the same line, simply wait a while for the mark to appear.
The ink disappears at temperature above 60 degrees, the blue and red will reappear around minus 10-15 degrees, and the white will reappear at around minus 50 degrees. They can also be removed by washing.
Please make sure the cap is always placed back immediately after use to prevent the ink from drying out.
*** Although it has always worked well from our experiences, we still strongly suggest that you always test it on the fabric before starting your project. ***
The refills can be used directly as they are without a pen case. If you are not comfortable using refills directly, choose the option with refills and pen case.
*** Please only use the pen case designed for the refills. Although these refills will also fit most standard pen cases, the caps most likely will not have the silicone lid inside to prevent the ink from drying out quickly.
