The Honduras 5 Lempiras banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Honduras in 2016 with embossed Braille dots and vertical bars in high relief to help the sight-impaired. The banknote comes in a combination of black, blue, purple, green, and orange. Its obverse features the coat of arms of Honduras and a portrait of General Francisco Morazan who served as the head of state of the country. The back of the paper bill is a depiction of the Battle of Trinidad on November 11, 1827. The banknote is 156 x 67 mm in size and has no security thread and watermark. This paper bill bears the signatures of Hector Mendez Calix, Manuel de Jesus Bautista Flores, and Wilfredo Cerrato Jr. This Honduras 5 Lempiras banknote is in uncirculated condition.
