This item is for a small softcover journal, written in by hand by a young Atlanta, Georgia woman.

The entries start 5/7/1942 and go to 7/22/1945.

I was unable to decipher the name of the girl who wrote it, but she is very detail oriented with regards to names of her friends (first and last named given in many instances). It appears she was given the journal by Winter Griffith and went on many dates with him. Please see photos to get an idea of content. Mostly describes going out with various friends, male and female. An interesting piece of Atlanta history.

Journal is softcover, 3 x 5 inches. Some markings to cover. Journal entries are mostly in pencil, some are in ink. Some pages are torn partially but I counted 33 whole pages, almost all with writing on both sides. See photos.
