The picture shows the pin you will receive, as new, in package. (The second and third views are of a pin that was already removed from the packaging.) These date from the 1970s-1980s to when Pan Am ceased operations in 1991.

After speaking with another collector online, these pins were given to employees, especially flight attendants, to represent where a flight was headed or the employee's birthplace or citizenship. Staff members would collect these pins, and often gave them away to the airline's customers. There are at least seventy-seven (77) different pins available, for sixty (60) countries, eight (8) U.S. states and territories, one (1) city flag, one (1) pin with the EU flag, and one (1) pin with only the U.S. flag and Pan Am logo flag. THE ONLY PINS I HAVE AVAILABLE ARE THE ONES BEING SOLD ON EBAY.
