The Saudi Arabia 5 Riyals banknote is part of the 1983 issues. It is purple in color and measures 145 x 66 mm. The obverse side shows traditional boats and King Fahd. The reverse side features the Ras Tanoura oil refinery and the national emblem (two crossed swords with a palm tree). This banknote uses a solid security thread and contains a watermark with a King Fahd design.
