Here we have a scarce dinner/cabinet plate from Spode's Archive Collection Cranberry, a contemporary (out of production since 2006) reproduction of an antique Spode transferware pattern. The scene pictured on this one is "Woodman." It is surrounded by cranberry flowers and has a scalloped edge with no trim. Wonderful depth, rich design, perfect for a plate wall display. We have lots of cool antique, vintage and contemporary China, dinnerware, and art pottery in our store, including more from this line, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost.

Vintage: this line was in production from 1996-2006

Maker/Markings: Spode/see photos of back of plate

Approximate extreme measurements: 10.5" diameter

Condition: Our photos show the condition best and are the most important part of the description. Please enlarge and zoom in them to view the condition for yourself. Very clean, bright, and glossy, with the appearance of being like new. No cracks, chips, utensil marks, stains, or crazing. A few light, completely colorless scratches to the glaze can be seen under close inspection when the plate is held up to a direct source of light at just the right angle.

We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
