Tighten to the recommended torque using a torque wrench. Installation:

  1. Drill a hole in the concrete using a hammer drill and a carbide tipped masonry drill bit, matching the bit size with the outside diameter of the drop-in anchor being uséd. Make sure the hole depth exceeds the minimum embedment (around 5%)
  2. Drill the correct diameter hole and depth.
  3. Clear the hole of all debris with a brush and blow out pump.
  4. Push the anchor into the hole until it is flush with the surface of the concrete.
  5. Insert the relevant setting tool of the same diameter as the anchor until it makes contact with the cone. Use a hammer to drive the setting tool into the anchor – stop hammering when the expander shoulder rests against the anchor or when it is blocked (in hard concrete).
