This was purchased in an estate sale of Martha Armstrong Hand.  She was the sculptress who created many of the viewmaster figures used in the photographs    See the photo included of the estate sale.

You'll notice that the inscription from Chuck Jones reads, "give a little girl a big hand!".  This probably refers to her husband.

Her book Viewmaster Memories goes into detail about the creation of viewmaster images.  I have a copy of this listed for sale.  See my other listings.

From Legacy.com:

Martha was a renowned sculptor and doll artist and a proud member of NIADA (National Institute of American Doll Artists). In the 1950's she created figures for View Master, designed and sculpted ceramic figures for Hagen-Renakar and made puppets for Bob Baker's Marionette team. She worked as a doll sculptor for Mattel Toy Company for over 20 years before moving to Cambria where she successfully pursued her lifelong dream of making limited edition porcelain dolls.

Includes an additional disc of Daffy Duck.
