Antique circa 1870s wood document box, also suitable for jewelry, etc., hinged, made of oak, beautiful graining, with raised carved leafy rose motif, dovetailed construction visible on the corners, with keyhole (no key), carved bead and bar trim near the base, plain unlined interior, measuring 4-1/8" high, not including the rose motif on lid, x 10-5/8" across x 7-1/4" deep, condition: missing 4" bead and bar trim on the front (left) and 3" on the left side, otherwise, everything looks good, but no key, previously owned, from a local estate.

Our physical brick & mortar gallery located in Royal Oak, Michigan, for over 30 years, is closed on Sundays & Mondays. Any payments received for orders on those days will be processed on the following Tuesday afternoon. Our regular brick and mortar store hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 12 noon to 6pm.  We pack and ship paid eBay items on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday afternoons.
