This beautiful slip dress is pure white cotton with ribbon beading around the neckline and the armholes. A wide doubled panel at hem has embroidery eyelet lace. There is a 1920s embroidered motif stitched at the very front bodice, which was likely stitched on to cover up a tiny pinhole with faint stain underneath it. That is the only flaw I could find on this slip dress other than a couple of very slight smudges. The drop waist garment was likely intended as the underlayer to a tea gown and can be worn as an outer layer with slip underneath. The rare larger size will accommodate a fluid fit, and measures 48 bust, 50 waist, 50 hips and 44 inches in length.
I cannot accept returns on these antique items so please use the measurements as your guide and ask any additional questions prior to purchase, thanks!
