The obverse side of the note features a mythological guardian lion and the bank logo pattern in underprint. On the reverse side is the newly constructed Standard Chartered Bank headquarters building in Central district of Hong Kong and a Bauhinia blakeana flower. The security features of the note include a solid security thread and a watermark image of an Allegorical helmeted warrior head and SCB.
