Lovely, antique, well-kept, 7-piece Nippon serving set, in very good used condition (VGUC).

• Each piece marked on base with blue Nippon rising sun mark, used ~1891-1921.
• Hand painted, detailed purple violets and green leaves design
• Rims and platter handles in gold

Dimensions

• One (1) oval platter ~13.5" long x 8.25" wide x 1" tall at side rim
• Six (6) plates ~6.5" diameter x 7/8" tall
• Total weight (unboxed) ~3 lb. 14 oz.

Condition

• No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs.
• Finish and colors are bright.
• Platter has a small glazed indent along side rim, and one plate has 2 glazed indents, created during manufacture and not damage (see last photo).
• Some stray purple paint to the back of the platter.
• Overall shows light wear, appropriate to age and careful use.
