This 2-piece banknote set comes with 25 and 50 pfennig notgeld paper bills released in 1921 by the Municipality of Scheesel in the Prussian province of Hanover. These emergency banknotes have the same color schemes of dark blue, sepia, and brown. The 25-pfennig features the coat of arms of Scheessel crowned with a woman standing on each side, wearing a traditional costume. On the crest is a chicken on a goblet. The reverse depicts a landscape with a tree church. It also shows a pig and piglet as well as a woman wearing a hat, kneeling before a potato sack. Meanwhile, the 50-pfennig local banknote reflects a man plowing a field on the obverse. Depicted on its reverse is a young woman wearing a traditional dress and in the background is a large tree. These war money are 81 x 53 mm in size and bear a watermark that reflects waves pattern. These notgeld banknotes are in uncirculated condition.
