From an estate. This is from pre-1974, when the SLIK company was named the SLICK CAMERA TRIPOD COMPANY of Japan. They made a superior tripod then and now. Small nameplate with SLICK Crown logo is intact. This is a heavy, well-made tripod which was high quality then and still works great now. All adjusters work and hold their settings. All parts are here and functioning as designed. FAutomatic leveling feet are intact. Threads are not stripped anywhere. Legs lock tightly. NO dings or dents to legs or other parts, just a nice, proper patina of age that tells us this is a substantial, high quality tripod. When legs are extended fully and out all the way, top plate is 65 inches from the floor… then you can crank up another 12” on the center mast also.
