This is a rare vintage 1980s bottle of Jean Desprez Sheherazade 30 ml Parfum perfume in a sealed bottle.

Sheherazade was launched in 1983 as a reformulation of the 1939 original, but was discontinued in the late 1980s. The nose was Max Gavarry. Gavarry created the classics Dior Dioressence, Emanuel Ungaro Divas, and Estée Lauder Beautiful.

This opulent fragrance is an amber chypre floral for women.

The name, Sheherazade, comes from the Thousand and One Arabian Nights legends. Scheherazade, the bride of an Arabian emir, knew that when the king grew tired of his wives, he beheaded them. In order to save her life, Scheherazade devised to tell the king a different tale each night and was able to do this for 1000 nights. You will know the tales as Aladdin, Ali Baba etc. By the 1001st night, the king had fallen in love with the enticing Scheherazade, and made her his queen.

The box is still protected with the original cellophane. See all 10 images as part of the description.

The item is guaranteed genuine.
