The Squall II Level Wind reels also feature a 3+1 shielded stainless steel ball bearing system and HT-10 carbon fiber drag system, entirely surrounded by a lightweight Graphite frame and sideplates.

The PENN Squall II Level Wind features a lightweight graphite frame and sideplates with a new fast gear access side plate. Proven HT-100 carbon fiber drag washers and the machined aluminium spool are included along with a high-strength marine grade bronze alloy main gear and stainless steel pinion gear for durability.
