Vintage Silverplate Canadian National Railway Milk or Cream Pitcher.  Hallmarked on the bottom (see photos).  Not sure the exact age on this one, dates approx. circa 1950's or prior.  Canadian National Railways maple leaf logo on one side.  This would have been used in a CNR train dining car 60+ years ago!  Measures approx. 4-1/2" tall (to top of lid) x 5-1/2" in diameter (handle to spout).  This item is well used and does show quite a bit of wear.  There are numerous dings, dents, surface wear, etc.  Base is not perfectly circular, though is reasonably close that you wouldn't notice while using it.  It could also use a good polish and buff as it has some tarnish.  The lid hinge work fine and lid fits as it should.  Noted a bit of wear to the silverplate inside at the base.  Sold "as-is" (no returns).  Please see photos for more details.

More Details on CNR (from Wikipedia):

The Canadian National Railway Company is a Canadian Class I freight railway headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, which serves Canada and the Midwestern and Southern United States.

CN is Canada's largest railway, in terms of both revenue and the physical size of its rail network, spanning Canada from the Atlantic coast in Nova Scotia to the Pacific coast in British Columbia across approximately 20,400 route miles (32,831 km) of track. In the late 20th century, CN gained extensive capacity in the United States by taking over such railroads as the Illinois Central.

From 1919 to 1960, the railway was referred to as "Canadian National Railways" (CNR).
