Antique Squat Pewter Round Footed Teapot, Shaw & Fisher, Sheffield, England, c. 1850 - 1875.  The teapot is a squat example shaped like a Genie's lamp with four feet.  The teapot has an applied metal handle and finial, and a shaped pewter spout.  The teapot has an impressed mark on the base that reads, "3 55 - SHAW & FISHER - SUFFOLK ROAD - SHEFFIELD - 3025".  There is a receipt inside the teapot showing it was purchased on 2-7-84 for $47.50.
