Fields of Glory Description:
Fields of Glory, Vol. 2 MiH's popular Great leaders, Great Battles Series, features two more of John Churchill's, First Duke of Marlborough, victories fought during the War of Spanish Succession.

The Game System:
MiH's "GLGB" series focus on the battles of Marlborough and allows you for the first time to take a close look at the early bayoneted musket battles. Even though the complexity level is moderate, Fields of Glory delivers all the combat with accuracy and color. Designed by Hall of Famer, Richard H Berg, Fields of Glory uses an innovative interactive sequnce of play to portray the importance of command control, while simulating the linear regidty that only reinforced the brutality of mass melee.

The Battles:
Oudenarde: July 11, 1709: In one of the more intriguing battles of the era, Marlborough and Prince Eugene race to cross the Schelde River, only to run headlong into the entire French Army, under the co-command of Vendome and Burgundy.
Malplaqyet; September 9, 1709: This is the largest battle fought on European soil until the Napoleonic era, easily earned its name, "The Bucher's Bill".
