1676 Jesuit Georg de Rhodes
Disputationes on GOD & ANGELS Catholic Aquinas Summa
Georges de Rhodes was a 17th-century Jesuit known for his
philosophical studies in theology. His most important, and most famous work,
was his ‘Disputationes Theologiae
Scholasticae’ – a collection of shorter treatises describing God, angels,
and their relationship to man. Rhodes was heavily influenced by Thomas Aquinas
and his ‘Summa Theologica’, which is
evident throughout this work.
