This listing is for a very nice, one of a kind professional costume for ballroom dancing done by Doré Designs. This is a golden opportunity to get a very high quality costume for a fraction of the price. This dress was originally purchased for over $4000. My mother competed seriously in Dancesport for over ten years and finally retired and enlisted my help (I am the Ebay guy) to get some amazing costumes back onto the competition floor. So if you have any questions, I would love to answer them for you, but you may have to give me a few hours to respond as I will be the innocent third party in the middle relaying messages.

This dress was only worn a couple of times in competition. This one-of-a-kind professional dance costume custom made for her by Doré Designs.  It is a US Size 6 and the dancer this was made for was 5'6" and weighed between 115-120 lbs. It has an internal body suit and comes with everything you see in the pictures. That would be the dress, gloves, neck piece, and the floater. 

This dress is ideally suited for competition in either International Ballroom (Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, and Quickstep) or American Smooth (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, and Viennese Waltz). For the record, the floater does snap off for American Smooth. 

I made sure to take as many pics as possible. So please take a close look at the pictures to determine exact condition, as I tried to take them from every angle possible. After all, some people's "perfect" is another person's "mauled by a bear." However, this dress is incredibly good condition and I went over it with a fine tooth comb and could not really find any damage or stains. I did notice four of the small stones were missing. But I had to look pretty hard to find that. 

 

Shipping and Warranty

This dress will be mailed out priority mail via USPS. I care about my customers deeply and that extends to making sure they get their item as soon as possible. Unless I am dead or in a coma at the hospital, this item will be at the post office the same day if it is purchased before 4:00 PM MST. Otherwise, it will be there first thing in the morning. If it is 20 degrees below zero and 3 feet of snow . . . refer to the above statement. It will still be at the post office. 

 “Officially” this item is being sold as is with no returns. Unofficially, I will of course take care of any concerns you may have.  I pride myself on taking great care of my customers. I just don’t do it officially because I have been burned a couple of times by buyers on some high value items. To be blunt, if you return an item in similar condition to what it was sent out I will take care of it. If it comes back being run over by a steam roller because you work on a road crew and I can tell where you tried to get all the asphalt off with a jackhammer . . . then please refer to the first sentence where this item is “being sold as is with no returns.”
