"La Chine" ("China") - illustrated propaganda album published in 1954 by „China Pictorial” magazine. The album contains 44 loose color plates with printed captions on verso in original cloth folding case which features the title in Mao’s calligraphy. This album was printed to mark the 5th anniversary of the founding of the Peoples Republic of China. The preface was written by Soong Ching-ling - the widow of Sun Yat-sen. The text is in Chinese, English, French, and Russian.
The album size: 19 cm x 27 cm (7.5" x 10.6").
