The Indonesia 1,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by the Bank Indonesia in 2011. It comes in a combination of green, orange, and purple. The obverse of the paper bill depicts Kapitan Pattimura (Thomas Matulessy) holding a machete. It also reflects the coat of arms of Indonesia. The reverse of the note features the Pulau Maitara Dan Tidore (Maitara and Tidore islands), two men in a boat on a lake, mountains, and clouds. The paper bill contains a solid security thread with printed BANK INDONESIA and a watermark that reflects Tjut Meutia. It has dimensions of 141 x 65 mm and bears the signature of Budi Mulya. This particular note is in uncirculated condition.
