The title says it all folks. This is one of my handmade collector lures. I made this plug from a piece of aged white poplar wood. It was turned on the lathe, sanded, hand painted eyes added, then sealed with envirotex. Last of course was the hooks. There are two different sizes on this plug. Two smaller belly hooks (#10), and a larger treble (#4) that was tied with dyed feathers and iridescent fibers on the tail end.

All of my wooden lures are water ready if you choose to chase the bite. They are also eye candy for lure collectors. No two lures are ever the same size, shape, or color.

As for the paint job, this one simply has black lines that follow the wood grains, and I put a base coat of glitter glue down as well to help it shimmer with the sunlight.

Total length of this beauty- the wood portion measures 2 1/2" in length, with the feather trailer the total length is just shy of 4". It's a great size for chasing bass and walleye both.

Be safe on the water all!
