This is a box set full of the first recordings of Frank Zappa's live recordings from 74 and 76, recorded in the highest quality sound quality you can expect.
It consists of Discs 1 & 2 of the live concert in Edinboro, Pennsylvania in 74, Discs 3 & 4 of the live concert in Erie, Pennsylvania in the same year and selected live takes in the same period, Discs 5 & 6 of the live concert in Erie in 76 and selected live takes in the same period, and a booklet with commentary by Joe Travers (Zappa's tape warehouse manager) and Dan Shell.
The Edinboro sound source of the "Mothers 10 year anniversary tour" which was eagerly awaited by the fans for the official release, the Erie sound source of 74 which was full of troubles among the audience and the Erie sound source of 76 by the short-lived team including Lady Bianca, etc., are all worth listening to. This is a 6 disc set that is a must-have for fans. You can enjoy the popular repertoire such as "Freak out!", "Don't Eat The Yellow Snow", "Black Napkins", "The Torcher Never Stops", and the medley of early works, mainly the songs contained in the album.
