Most of these vintage original 1940s - 1950s urban and wild life art prints pulled from vintage Life magazines are in excellent condition and only have light edge wear, most of which can easily be hidden behind the border of a picture frame or framing mat; however, please refer to the specific item details for each individual item in the descriptions below:

1946 New York At Night Photography Print Set: This photography set features four front-and-back prints of New York City at night. The prints have light wear along the edges, corners and some light surface creasing. This would be well hidden be hidden behind the border of a frame when matted flat and pressed behind glass.***Attention: Please be rest assured to know that the damage (creases, tears, repairs, etc.) visible in the images provided (particularly shown in the first and last photos) are actually stock photos used for demonstration purposes and are therefore not present on the vintage photo prints that we have available which are in excellent condition with only minor edge wear that can easily be hidden behind the border of a picture frame or framing mat. 1946 New Yorker Cover Art Illustrations Prints: This print features cover art illustrations from The New Yorker. It features four prints on each side. On the front side, the first of four featured is "First Signs of Spring is the city, according to this Leonard Dove New Yorker cover, are street corner toughs hawking flowers wrapped in sexy tabloids." The second, "Long Winded Orators are lampooned by Perry in this 1944 pre election issue..." the third, "A Female Fisherman says Cartoonist Helen Hokinson, is too delicate to bait her hook...." the fourth, "Suburban Victory Gardeners, at height of the craze when Perry Barlow produced this cover, raised chickens and brooded over day's crop of one of two eggs." On the opposite side there are four more illustrations featured. These illustrations could possibly be cut out and framed individually...overall there are 8 illustrations spread out over one page, front and back. Measurements: 10" x 14"

1952 New York City Skyscraper Heads Nikita Carpenko NYC Skyline Photography Art: This 1952 era New York City silhouette photograph two page magazine spread is in good condition, with minor wear along the left edge where it was delicately removed from the magazine's bind. This would be easy to conceal behind the border of a frame when matted flat, framed and pressed behind glass. It brings to mind the ancient gods of old, the Nephilim of the Old Testament and Egypt. Also reminds one of Gotham City with the dark black and white grayscale. * Please note, if only 1 is left in stock, there is some light water staining in the upper corner, this would still be easy to hide behind a picture frame. 1952 Precious Gemstones Photo Prints Gemology Gems Emerald Ruby Sapphire Diamond Gemologist Gift: This vintage 1952 era Precious Gemstones print shows up close photos of some very popular and beautiful gems from all over the world. It is one magazine page, not actual photography photos. It shows The Star of the East, Royal Spanish Emerald, Catherine the Great's Sapphire, The Hope Diamond, Rare Gem Ruby, and the Jonker Diamond. There is some very light wear along the ride side of the print, where it was originally attached to the magazine bind. This would make an excellent gift this Christmas season for collectors of Gemology related memorabilia. ***Please Note: That although this is not visible in the image provided, located at the bottom of the page, just to the right of the typographical text that reads "Rare Gem Ruby", there is an original printing flaw that looks like a tiny black dot. This is not wear from age, it is instead a manufacturing flaw from the printing process of the magazine page in 1952; fortunately this little dot is hardly noticeable, yet worth mentioning. 1952 Insects Photography Entomology Science Experiment Study Art Print Set: This is a vintage original 1954 Life Magazine article photo print set that consists of 4 double-sided pages and therefore you will only be able to display the one side of the page that you desire most once framed. The article title page shown in image 4 features on its backside the single page print that reads "How a Silkworm is Transformed into a Moth" at the top of the page and showcases six photos with captions. The next page features the full page color photo of "Moth Escapes" and on its backside is a portion of the two page magazine spread centerfold that is displayed here in image 1. On the backside of the other magazine spread page is the "Halved Pupae" photos and lastly the last page of the article is the full page photo of the "Death Flight...climaxes the experiment as pupa Number 3, now a moth, stretches its new-grown wings, and, despite tube, flutters away. Although both halves of the body had developed, slender tissue bridge was too week. It broke almost at once. The insect crashed to the ground and died." On the backside of this full page photo is the vintage original 1952 Kroehler Furniture advertisement seen in the last image provided here, and therefore it could be framed and displayed without concealing any content that pertains to the article. 1949 Lucky Puppy Life Magazine Article Photo Taxidermy Macabre Miracle Pet Print Set: Includes two vintage original 1949 Life Magazine full page black and white photograph prints (each on their own individual page; making them suitable for framing) and an additional double-sided page with the corresponding article text (as shown in the last two images provided). A reporter and photographer find a puppy starving beside her mother's body in Texas. Last month Photographer Leonard McCombs and Correspondent John Bryson, in Texas on another Life assignment, saw a dead dog and a dyin puppy beside a road. McCombs took the photograph at left, then they wired Lawrence Laybourne, chief of Life correspondents. All the informatio nthey could gather about the puppy, which they named Lucky, is in these messages" All of the messages between the two men are contained on the first page of the print. On on other page is the famous puppy Lucky, who was found next to his deceased mother. The puppy was Lucky to be found, as he was sure to starve on his own. He was flown around the United States and was pampered the rest of his life. It would make an excellent gift for a veterinarian! On the back side is a funeral procession showing the ceremony for fallen soldiers. Measurements: 10" x 14"
