lovely, first edition copy of this book of fairy poems by Walter De La Mare.
Charming collection of fairy poems by Walter de la Mare featuring more than 60
illustrations by Caldecott Medal winning artist Dorothy Lathrop. Collated and
complete.Including a beautiful frontispiece, in colour.?Walter John De La Mare
was an English poet, short story writer, and novelist. He is probably best
remembered for his works for children, for his poem "The Listeners",
and for a highly acclaimed selection of subtle psychological horror stories,
amongst them "Seaton's Aunt" and "All Hallows". In the
publisher's original cloth binding with gilt lettering to the front board and
spine. Externally, very smart, with slight bumping to head and tail of spine
and extremities. A few marks to the front board. Internally, slight age-toning
to the free-endpapers, as usual. Slight spotting to the first and last few
pages, and a couple spots throughout, but otherwise pages are clean. Very Good
Indeed. book.
