Update 11/30/2022

If you're wanting a true first edition, you can find them for as low as $69 here on eBay (there are plenty). If you want a 1st BCE you can get them as low as $10. This book is neither of those. This is a short-run bootlegged print from a mom & pops printing company based in Orange, VA circa 1984. I'm only writing this because I've had a handful of users send me detailed information about the history of the 1st edition/1st printing of Thinner, trying to convince me that this copy is just trash. Feel free to message me to say it's trash, that's your right and your opinion, Lord knows you won't be the first or last. I will accept offers, but no low-balls please. Thanks for looking.

Original listing:

I don't have a lot of information or history about this copy of Thinner, but I purchased several first edition Stephen King books a year or so ago from a collector, and this one seems to be quite rare. If you look at the Copyright page and compare it every other 1st edition of Thinner here on eBay or elsewhere, this page is different (Photo 2 of this listing). I'm not sure if it's a knock-off or if they printed a short-run or what, but I've yet to see another one like it. Typically BCEs have "Book Club Edition" printed somewhere on the dust jacket or a page in the front or back, but this one doesn't, however it does name a specific company from Orange, VA who did the printing & binding.
