Rare vintage Waterman Fountain Pen “The Supermaster “ from ~ 1987 (No. 13037) in Grey-Gold with gold plated M-nib made in France.
The Super Master was only manufactured from 1983 to 1989.
Gold clip with Waterman logo. Nice gold trim in excellent condition. Body is Grey and the gold trim ring is stamped "Waterman Made in France".
These pens use either cartridges or a filler system. Approx. 14 cm long. Untested

A very slim pen in keeping with the fashions of the time. It is not over-weighted, as some other pens of a similar silhouette, so the slimness is not as much of a burden as it might be. With the marginal vice of thinness being really its only one, the pen has a couple of virtues to balance it. It is a relatively durable pen, in the non-plated versions at least, and resists both scuffs and posting scars very well. The point, which is devoid of any markings save the single letter of line size, is smooth.
Condition:
Mint cosmetic condition with no damage or marks to the barrel, cap or nib. Nib section is perfect with no discoloration or cracks. Nib is gold and appears to be in mint condition.
Waterman Ideal case in "Mint" condition is included.
Color may differ slightly due to camera flash/screen setting.
