This uncirculated 1 British shilling note is part of the third series of special vouchers used by the British Armed Forces during the Suez Canal Crisis in 1956. It is a blue, brown, and red note that measures 113 mm x 27 mm. Both sides feature guilloches and the denomination. Though the note does not have a watermark, it has a solid security thread. The note also has punched holes to indicate that it is a cancelled remainder note that could not be used for transactions.
