From a Tucson estate some years ago is this 14K solid yellow gold Star of David or Magen David pendant, a vintage Israeli symbol of Judaism. The ornament also shows a central representation of a menorah. Well accomplished openwork details and diamond cut embellishment are in this case the result of skilled handwork. Put another way, the ornament was artisanally crafted - that it genuinely came from a workshop bench in the Holy Land is a decided bonus. In that regard there is a clearly struck six sided incuse government assay mark with David's harp and "585", as mandated to verify the 14K grade of purity. Weight is good for the form at about 1.9 grams  on my portable digital scale.  Condition is quite fine with a subtle aura of time to the gold surfaces. Those surfaces and the gold bale are well preserved - I believe this may have been worn about briefly when acquired, though the overall look emphasizes "brief" and speaks to its treasured keeping. A look at those pics should give a good idea of appearance and condition. Size is about 1 1/2 in. on the dangle with bale. The pendant itself is about 1 5/16 in. vertical including the integral suspension loop and 1 1/32 in. horizontal.  I don't know what else need be said, so there you are.
