The African Campaign:

The African Campaign is easy to play and historically accurate. Its fully revised rules, mapboard, and counters have many features includings: airpower, fuel supplies, minefields, back to back unit counters, fortresses, ports, and headquarters. The game begins with Wavell's first offensive against the Italian forces of Marshal Graziani, and ends in December 1942 when the americans landed in Rommel's rear. ON a 32 inch long map of North Africa YOU can redirect and refight the Desert War.

Can YOU as Rommel, the Desert Fox, with your small but mobile AFRIKA KORPS< overcome your supply problems and seize Alexandria from Montgomery ?

Can YOU as the Allied Command hold Tobruch and El Alamein, destroy the panzers and push the Axis forces out of Libia?

The African Campaign is similar to chess in its simplicity. After a few games the rules will become second nature to you. But, where chess is an adstraction, African Campaign is a realistic simulation of a true historical even. Like chess, it can be as easy or as hard to play as you care to make it. Unlike chess, African Campaign is as close to reality as you can get.
