"Ukrposhta" will issue a block stamp called "Free, Unbreakable, Invincible" with an envelope for Independence Day of Ukraine, which falls on the half-year anniversary of the full-scale war.
This was announced by the general director of "Ukrposhta" Ihor Smilyanskyi, publishing a sketch of the stamp.
As the general director of the company explained, the terms were "very short", so the brand will be released in a limited edition of 1 million copies. The stamp "Free, Unbreakable, Invincible" is the work of the artist Anton Khrupin.
In the center of the Independence Day stamp is a picture of a Ukrainian defender. And also women, one of whom is in a house destroyed by the occupiers; the bombed-out Mariupol theater with the inscription "children", as well as a bloody toy from the Kramatorsk railway station, a baby carriage and suitcases.
"This year for us it is not just an additional day off, but a reminder to the whole world how expensive human freedom is. On August 24, we have a kind of symbolism - exactly 6 months since Ukraine has again been forced to defend its independence from enemies in a war that actually does not last six months , not 8, not 100 and not even 300 years," emphasizes Smilyanskyi.
