This adorable set of vintage Russ collectibles consists of the following two items.

1) A lovely cream colored heart shaped porcelain trinket/jewelry/ring box featuring the month of January. The lid of the box is decorated with purple carnations and has January written in gold tone below them. The box is in excellent preowned condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a tiny bubble under the glaze (from the manufacturing process) on the front top right hand side of the lid, but this is only seen upon close inspection (as shown in the photos). The box measures 1 1/4” tall (with lid) by 2 1/4” wide by 2” long. The original gold foil label is still on the bottom and reads Russ Berrie and Company, Inc. Item No. 9202 Made in Taiwan R.O.C.

2) A dainty pink porcelain heart shaped candle holder decorated with roses on both sides. It measures approximately 1 3/4” tall, 2” wide, and 1” deep. The hole where the candle would be placed is on the ‘side of the heart’ and measures approximately 1/2” in diameter. The holder is in excellent preowned condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Most of the original gold foil label is still on the bottom and reads Russ Berrie and Company, Inc. Oakland, N.J. Item No. 9957 Made in Korea.
