Translation of the Ivḗron Icon of the Mother of God to Moscow, Commemorated on October 13.
The Ivḗron Icon of the Mother of God, has been glorified by many miracles. Accounts of the wonderworking image were spread throughout Russia by pilgrims. His Holiness Patriarch Nikon (then still Abbot of the Novospasky monastery) asked Abbot Pachomius of the Ivḗron Monastery on Mt Athos, (who was in Moscow collecting alms for the Athonite monasteries) to supply a copy of the wonderworking Ivḗron Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos.
The Athonite monk Iamblichos painted the copy of the Ivḗron Icon, and after a year the icon was taken to Moscow, accompanied by monks of Athos. On October 13, 1648 it was solemnly greeted by a multitude of the people. The Ivḗron Icon of the Russian Orthodox Church was also glorified by the Lord with many miracles (February 12).
The Ivḗron Icon is also commemorated on February 12, March 31, and Bright Tuesday.

Перенесение Иверской иконы Божией Матери в Москву,  Память 13 октября.
Иверская икона Божией Матери прославилась многими чудесами. Слухи о чудотворном образе распространялись по России странниками. Святейший Патриарх Никон (тогда еще игумен Новоспасского монастыря) попросил игумена Иверского монастыря на Афоне Пахомия (находившегося в Москве за сбором милостыни для афонских монастырей) предоставить список чудотворной Иверской иконы Пресвятой Богородицы.
Афонский монах Иамвлих написал список с Иверской иконы, и через год икона была доставлена в Москву в сопровождении афонских монахов. 13 октября 1648 года он был торжественно встречен множеством народа. Иверская икона Русской Православной Церкви также была прославлена Господом многими чудесами (память 12 февраля).
Память Иверской иконы совершается также 12 февраля, 31 марта и Светлого вторника.
