The Sudan 50 Sudanese Pounds Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Sudan in 2017. It comes in a color combination of gray, blue, green, and brown. Its obverse depicts a natural resources theme with a rhinoceros, elephants, an ape in a tree, a water buffalo, zebras, and a giraffe. The reverse of the note depicts the bank logo, camels, goats, cattle, and fish. The banknote bears a holographic stripe and a 2-mm wide windowed security thread with demetallized CBS 50 LS and Arabic text. It also bears a watermark that reveals a secretary bird and an electrotype LS 50. It measures 165 x 74 mm and bears the signature of Hazim Abdegadir Ahmed Babiker.
