Grading

When grading a cassette I assess the quality of the sound, as well as the shell and J-card. Please refer to the photographs for an accurate visual description of the J-Card or shell condition. If there are any significant defects on the shell or J-Card (such as sun-fading, a small tear/rip, or some writing) I will list it in the description.

Sound grading:

Very Good Plus (VG+) Sound is clean with minimal noise or degradation.

Very Good (VG) Sound has some stronger hiss or degradation, but not enough to overpower music.

Good (G) Sound is muddy overall (but has that unmistakable warmth and sound of a tape cassette)
