I don't see any switch to heat anything so I'm assuming it does not heat.

Button to change direction works fine. While it's turning you can push this button and it will instantly spin in the opposite direction while you hold button down.

Condition- Has been tested and works fine. Expect this to need cleaned plus some general maintenance due to it's age. Can hold 3 jars. This one has two glass jars included and 1 plastic that looks to have been used in place of the plastic. Probably could throw the plastic out and get another glass if you choose. Motor ran pretty smoothly even though it has not been turned on in 20+ years! These were built to last!!!
