The dust jacket has a closed tear and corresponding crease on the front, light to moderate creasing and wear on the edges and corners and has a new archival-quality Mylar Protector. The book itself is in much better condition. The boards are straight and square, with sharp corners and some gentle bumping on the edges of the spine. The binding is still tight and the pages are clean and crisp, without creases, marks or tears.

The dust jacket has the original $24.95 price on the inner front flap and there is a "First U.S. Edition: October 1996" notation on the copyright page along with a full number line to 1, (indicating a 1st printing).
