This beautiful pendant was carefully hand crafted and features a drilled hole for suspension.  It's an artifact of the ancient Olmec culture, the first of the great cultures of Mesoamerica.  The Olmec are commonly regarded as the predecessors of the Aztec, the Maya, and all the other great peoples of Mesoamerica.  This artifact is approximately three thousand years old and is in the same condition as when it was found in Southern Mexico or Guatemala.  It is guaranteed to be original, genuine, and authentic.  It comes from an important collection, which was assembled in the middle of the twentieth century.
