Dorothy Moore quickly became Malaco's signature singer from her debut with the 1976 smash hit "Misty Blue" (R&B #2/Pop #3).
She is especially known in Japan for many popular songs such as "Girl Overboard" and "What Am I To Do," but this was her final album released in 1980 on the same label.
Her favorite albums are cute yet deep, full of her personality, including "Talk To Me / Every Beat Of My Heart" written by Joe Seneca, which includes the album's title song, which ranked 87th in R&B.
