FROM 1967-1970, WHILE LIVING IN ENGLAND, I  ENGAGED IN THE ART OF BRASS RUBBING
These RUBBINGS ARE NOT copies, but my signed original pieces of work.
(A letter confirming such comes along with a brief description of the persons featured)

John Compton, Esquire & his wife, Lady Margery. The year is 1424

Description:
Knight in armour of the Lancastrian period; helmet, low & round resting upon a steel gorget encircling the neck...sword held in position by a narrow diagonal ornamented belt...misericord/dagger (right side) hooked to one of the laces itself.

Lady wearing a long flowing robe fastened high above the waist... veil stretched over a wire framework and descending to shoulders.

The couple is buried in Dinton, County Buckinghamshire, England.  Their tomb dates to the year, 1424.

INDIVIDUAL rubbings measure  15" X 24" each (this is the paper size OF EACH ART PIECE)
They  were created with a green wax (heel ball) on a background of white, brass rubbing paper.
The paper is in very good vintage condition with a slight curl/ripple from being rolled up, & the expected age yellowing. They are well-preserved.
You will see imperfections in the art, which is nothing more than a transferal of the imperfections from the brass plate itself.

Your UNIQIUE rubbings will be rolled and shipped in a tube.
