An estate item from a lovely home full of nice things.

This set includes the clock itself and the two correct, original candelabras.

This clock set is estimated to be from the late 1800's, possibly turn of the century... not a more modern reproduction. The porcelain dial shows it's from the village of Vire, France which itself has a nice history... check it out.

Everything is in beautiful shape, with very few imperfections... a few tiny nicks here and there, but as the photos show there are no distracting issues. Beautiful dainty floral sprays are hand painted on the porcelain dial. All the brass is in good shape, and the front and rear doors of the clock work fine. Convex dial glass is in fine shape. All in all, a real beauty!

The original key is included, and when we wound the clock we found it runs for a few minutes, then stops. Our handyman thinks the problem is the little suspension spring which holds the pendulum...it has a tiny tear. The main springs of the clock are good. Suspension springs of all sizes are available right here on Ebay, as we have bought them here for our own clocks before!

Measurements: The clock itself is about 16" tall, and each of the candelabras is about 10.5" tall.
