WONDERFUL VTG GERMAN MADE RAT LADY WITH BAG STRING MARIONETTE LARGE 48" 1970'S

Features a humped back old cleaning lady wearing an apron, scarf, tattered dress with pink sleeves, carrying a broom & a rabbit fur bag with a rat in it

Her face & hands are soft, fuzzy eyebrows, pink painted lips

Head is hollow with very real looking grey hair, maybe it is real

Shoes are patched & she has a red heart sewn on her chest

Her main motion or movement is sweeping

I saw this marionette on stage in northeastern Wisconsin in the 70s

Very large - foot to head measures 28", foot to control 48"

She works in dirty places as can be seen by the large flies on her face & hand

Truly delightful to this day, works well

She is really a great find.  The cleaning rat lady is truly rare
