This auction is for a fabulous 1st edition antique Victorian period illustrated book. Titled 'Alfred Stevens A Biographical Study', by Walter Armstrong & published by Remington & Co of New Bond Street, London & Paris. Hard back canvas cover with gold foil embossed titled to front. This book comes direct from a recent estate sale & is sold in as found antique condition. Lots of wear & some staining to the back, front & spine. Pages are clean, some with light foxing & all pages are attached to inner spine. Overall looks to be complete & is in clean & tidy antique age related condition. Very rare 1st edition & an interesting illustrated book dated 1881.
