Antique Sterling Silver (Handle Only) Cake Knife Server Pie Pastry, Engraved “D”.

Pretty server. Handle is Sterling but it is evident that the server ( flat portion) is plated and or metal as that part has wear to layers of metal - see picture. See pictures of scratches and wear to flat part of server.

Handle is marked Sterling. Rest no markings.

Could use polishing. Not sure that flat part would look any better with polish however.

Weighs approximately 92 gm on my scale but keep in mind only part of that weight is sterling and not sure the weight of the handle versus flat area. Although the handle seems solid and pretty heavy from what I can tell.
